1. Who we are
Flowideo is operated by Genez LLC ("Flowideo", "we", "us"). Flowideo is an online service that turns a prompt and uploaded media into finished short videos using AI. This policy explains what personal data we process and why.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: your email address and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
- Authentication data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in.
- Content you provide: prompts, scene scripts, reference images and videos you upload, and the videos we generate for you.
- Billing data: your wallet balance and a ledger of top-ups and charges. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Technical data: IP address, device/browser information and request logs, used for security, abuse prevention and debugging.
3. How we use your data
- To provide the service: generate, store and deliver your videos.
- To process payments and maintain your wallet balance.
- To secure the platform (rate limiting, fraud and abuse prevention, bot detection).
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to your requests.
4. Legal bases
Where applicable law (e.g. GDPR / KVKK) requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (providing the service), our legitimate interests (security and improving the service), your consent (where asked), and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Service providers (sub-processors)
To run Flowideo we share the minimum necessary data with:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Google Cloud (GCS, Cloud Run) — file storage and video rendering.
- Neon — our PostgreSQL database.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Anthropic — prompt enhancement and scene scripting.
- fal.ai — image, video and transcription models.
- ElevenLabs — voiceover synthesis.
- Pexels / Pixabay — optional stock media.
- Google reCAPTCHA — bot protection on sign-in and sign-up.
Your prompts and the media required to fulfil a job are sent to the relevant AI providers solely to produce your output.
6. Data retention
- Generated videos and uploaded media are stored for about 30 days, after which they are automatically deleted. Download your files within that window.
- Account and billing records are kept while your account is active and as required by law (e.g. for tax/accounting).
- You can request deletion of your account at any time (see Your rights).
7. Your rights
Depending on your location you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@flowideo.com.
8. Security
We protect your data with industry-standard measures: encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), access controls, server-side authorization checks, and private storage that is only served through authenticated, ownership-checked endpoints.
9. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Children
Flowideo is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
